Killzone 3 is the fourth installment in the Killzone series, which is set in a galactic war between the Inter Strategic Alliance (ISA) and the Helghast. The previous installment, Killzone 2, was marketed as yet another “Halo killer,” but failed live up to such expectations. But with Killzone 3, Guerrilla Games has finally made Killzone 3 into a league of its own.
Gears Of War from Epic Games was one of if not the biggest franchise that was born on the Xbox 360. Many gamers around the world would buy an Xbox 360 just so they could experience this phenomenal shooter! The game would go on to sell millions of copies, spawn a few sequels and a ton of merchandise as well.

Gears Of War 2 was released in 2008 to huge critical and commercial acclaim. This game would stay an Xbox 360 exclusive and would not see a port on the PC. The game is regarded as one of the best shooters in the whole Xbox 360 library.
Gears Of War: Judgment was the last game in the Gears franchise to be released on the Xbox 360. The game while being the fourth in the series is actually a prequel, set before the events of the first game that was released in 2006.

The first game in the series would start life out as an Xbox 360 exclusive, but a year later the PC would see a port and then in 2012 the Playstation 3 would also get caught up by getting the first Mass Effect game to go along with Mass Effect 2 and 3 which were also released for the Playstation 3.
