Killzone 3

Killzone 3 is the fourth installment in the Killzone series, which is set in a galactic war between the Inter Strategic Alliance (ISA) and the Helghast. The previous installment, Killzone 2, was marketed as yet another “Halo killer,” but failed live up to such expectations. But with Killzone 3, Guerrilla Games has finally made Killzone 3 into a league of its own.

Titanfall is a FPS (first person shooter) developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts exclusively for Microsoft consoles. Titanfall was released in March 2014 for the Xbox One and in April for the Xbox 360 and it has been getting great reviews from game reviewers, video game websites, and on the Metacritic website. Titanfall is a combination of mech combat and classic army FPS action, which means it is a gamers dream. Despite this, you have come here looking for an honest review and I plan to give you just that. I have no personal stake in the game, I do not receive money to review games from either Microsoft or EA, and I do not receive review copies for free in order to review games like Titanfall. With that said, let’s get to the review.

Call Of Duty: Ghosts

The 2013 installment of Call Of Duty is called Ghosts and is handled by the guys at Infinity Ward. Call Of Duty: Ghosts as well as being released on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC and Wii U would also serve as one of the most high profile launch titles for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

Resistance 3

We’ve already seen Naughty Dog blow the world away with the Uncharted Drake’s Fortune and how they made lightning strike twice with its sequel Uncharted 2 Among Thieves, but can this prestigious developer go for the hat trick and create a successful third entry in the franchise with Uncharted 3 Drake’s Deception? Or will it fall prey to not living up to the originals, as many sequels tend to do? Rest assured that Uncharted 3 not only lives up to the Uncharted name but lets the series go out on the PlayStation 3 on a high note.

Wolfenstein: The New Order

Wolfenstein 3D was one of the first shooter games that appeared on the market and that means that some gamers will feel nostalgic when it comes to talking and playing this first person shooter. Two other iterations have appeared since then, in 2001 saw the release of Return to Castle Wolfenstein and in 2009 Wolfenstein was unleashed, each one having its own set of missions and intrigues that made us love the concept and story even more. With Wolfenstein: The New Order, Bethesda tries to offer us a unique perspective on WWII. This time Nazis have won the battle and they started taking advantage of every nation.

Killzone 2

Killzone 2 was billed as one of the most serious rivals to the Halo franchise, but it met a somewhat disappointing reception in North America. Under a forced comparison, it may not measure up to Halo’s innovative gameplay. However, it does easily pass the high standards that Halo set for the industry and remains one of the best first-person shooters in the Playstation 3 catalog.
