Child of Light is the newest 2D side-scrolling RPG release from Ubisoft featuring a fairy tale storyline that one wouldn’t expect from the guys behind Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry. The fairy tale storyline revolves around the young protagonist Aurora who is a charming little girl and apparently quite the force to be reckoned with when it comes to fights.

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception

We’ve already seen Naughty Dog blow the world away with the Uncharted Drake’s Fortune and how they made lightning strike twice with its sequel Uncharted 2 Among Thieves, but can this prestigious developer go for the hat trick and create a successful third entry in the franchise with Uncharted 3 Drake’s Deception? Or will it fall prey to not living up to the originals, as many sequels tend to do? Rest assured that Uncharted 3 not only lives up to the Uncharted name but lets the series go out on the PlayStation 3 on a high note.

Released as a launch title for the PlayStation 3 in 2006, Resistance took both gamers and critics by storm as one of the first big hits on the system. However, Resistance 2 would have the opposite effect, going down in history as being a misstep for the franchise with its confusing story and lackluster gameplay. It was with a heavy sense of trepidation that gamers looked toward Resistance 3; could Insomniac Games atone for the sins of Resistance 2, bringing us a game that was at least on par with the original? The answer to that question is a resounding “Yes!”

Wolfenstein 3D was one of the first shooter games that appeared on the market and that means that some gamers will feel nostalgic when it comes to talking and playing this first person shooter. Two other iterations have appeared since then, in 2001 saw the release of Return to Castle Wolfenstein and in 2009 Wolfenstein was unleashed, each one having its own set of missions and intrigues that made us love the concept and story even more. With Wolfenstein: The New Order, Bethesda tries to offer us a unique perspective on WWII. This time Nazis have won the battle and they started taking advantage of every nation.

Mass Effect

Brought to us by the guys at Bioware. The Mass Effect series was one of the staples of the last console generation. The first game in the series would start life out as an Xbox 360 exclusive, but a year later the PC would see a port and then in 2012 the Playstation 3 would also get caught up by getting the first Mass Effect game to go along with Mass Effect 2 and 3 which were also released for the Playstation 3.
