The gun works when you hold down the accelerator button with the middle finger and then firing with the finger on the trigger. Both automatic and semi-automatic modes are available in CS-18. However, darts are quickly finished in the automatic mode, and semi-automatic mode is suitable if you don’t want to fire indiscriminately and want to conserve darts. A lot of people want to know whether the darts hurt. The simplest answer is it stings a little momentarily after being shot, but there is no permanent pain or even for a significantly long duration. You may want to get out of the line of fire if you are getting shot one after another though. One of the problems with this gun is the battery as not many other electronic items use this and you will have to get batteries especially for this gun. Though the construction is strong, sometimes it may jam and hence the users must be careful while handling it. You must make sure that the darts are straight and properly aligned. Otherwise there is every chance that the gun is jammed. Though this gun is rapid fire, it is only decent in accuracy. It is great for aggressive shooting, but not for accurate targeting.
