Gotham TV – Episode 1

Batman is one of the most iconic comic book characters and being able to see his origin story unfold in the new “Gotham” TV series is frankly too good to pass up. Right from the first moments of the pilot episode you can clearly see that Bruno Heller, the producer of Gotham has taken quite a lot of inspiration from the latest Batman movies created by Christopher Nolan, as here you can experience a dark, gritty, corrupted city, pretty much like you can see in the comic books.

Mass Effect 2 would once again first be released on the Xbox 360. Playstation 3 owners would have to wait a year to get Mass Effect 2. In an odd turn of events Mass Effect 2 was actually released on the Playstation 3 before the first game was.

Halo 4

Halo 4 is the newest game of the ongoing Halo storyline originally created by Bungie. Like all games in the Halo series it is a FPS (first person shooter) Halo 4 took a big leap from the other Halo’s in that it added in a completely new enemy, Master Chief has to battle. This group is known as the Forerunners who are a very high tech and advanced species like nothing the Chief has seen before.

Halo 3 ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Troopers) was originally called Halo Recon and it was said to be an expansion to Halo 3. It was something to keep Halo fans happy while they waited for the next Halo game. The game though would end up being its very own full game and not just a DLC add on like was originally intended.

Halo Wars was a radical departure from the first person shooter action that fans of the series had gotten used to. This was a real time strategy game and rather than Bungie being the guys behind the game it was Ensemble Studios who would develop the game.

Killzone 3 is the fourth installment in the Killzone series, which is set in a galactic war between the Inter Strategic Alliance (ISA) and the Helghast. The previous installment, Killzone 2, was marketed as yet another “Halo killer,” but failed live up to such expectations. But with Killzone 3, Guerrilla Games has finally made Killzone 3 into a league of its own.
